This style of sour beer might not be the obvious choice to serve at a pizza restaurant, but our neighbours Euro Pizza don’t follow the crowd. They get all their ingredients direct from the supplier and only cook with what’s in season. So it felt natural to use their sourdough culture to brew a beer that could change through the year. But how? In Berlin, a Berliner Weisse is often served with syrups that balance its sourness. This inspired us to make a drink exciting enough to enjoy on its own but that also combines with other flavours – like one of the seasonal syrups Euro Pizza make to accompany Beer.
